Recall that in late April, the team <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/is-the-trump-meme-coin-team-dumping-tokens-after-dinner-invite-and-price-surge\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">transferred<\/a> a more modest $20 million worth of the meme coin to Binance, OKX, and Bybit. At the time, TRUMP\u2019s price had also risen in value after the announcement of the upcoming dinner with the president at one of his golf establishments in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p>A recent report by Chainalysis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/05\/06\/trump-meme-coin-crypto.html?__source=\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">cited<\/a> by CNBC, indicated that the TRUMP team has profited somewhere around $320 million from different activities with the token, including fees routed to wallets tied to the creators.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the US President continues to <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/potus-denies-profiting-from-official-trump-trump-meme-coin\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">claim<\/a> that he has not profited even a cent from the meme coin\u2019s price gains.<\/p>\n<h2>Whales Keep Buying<\/h2>\n<p>Following the <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/trump-coin-team-denies-300k-dinner-rumor\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">dinner announcement<\/a> made last month, which says that the top 220 TRUMP holders will have a chance to attend a special event with the POTUS on May 22, many investors <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/dinner-with-the-president-whales-go-crazy-as-trump-coin-skyrockets\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">rushed to purchase<\/a> the profit, some with the obvious intention to attend it, others to profit by speculating.<\/p>\n<p>With just a few days left until the holders\u2019 snapshot deadline is over, on-chain data shows that one whale spent 4 million USDC to acquire 276,968 TRUMP tokens at $14.44.
