Recall that Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/binance-listing-pi-token-soon-community-has-the-final-say\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">held a community vote<\/a> in late February, asking its user base whether they would like to see the PI token added for trading.<\/p>\n<p>The voting concluded with an <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/will-binance-list-pi-network-pi-this-week\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">overwhelming win<\/a> for those in favor, but Binance failed to make a move after that.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, speculations started to emerge online as the Pi Network team <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/why-is-pi-networks-price-up-today\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">hinted<\/a> about an upcoming announcement for May 14 (yesterday).<\/p>\n<p>Although this turned out to be a <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/pi-networks-big-announcement-revealed-hint-it-wasnt-a-binance-listing\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">special $100 million fund<\/a> for investing in startups and other PI-native projects, there were certain reports claiming that Binance had experimented with PI token withdrawals and deposits on its backend.<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, today\u2019s rumors remain just that \u2013 rumors and speculations, and there\u2019s no official statement from either party.
