He noted that there\u2019s a substantial rise in active addresses, transaction volumes, and, perhaps most importantly, whale activity. As such, he concluded that these are all \u201cbullish signals that could support further upside.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Dogecoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">#Dogecoin<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24DOGE&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">$DOGE<\/a> is seeing a rise in active addresses, transaction volume, and whale activity. Bitcoin became an evident example of this in 2025 as its price <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-network-activity-plunges-to-yearly-lows-as-btc-struggles-below-100k-cryptoquant\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">tumbled<\/a> in February, March, and early April when activity had dried out and pushed past $100,000 after the metric <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/important-bitcoin-metric-hits-6-month-high-as-btc-price-prepares-for-rebound\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">recovered<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of whale activity, Martinez said that such large market participants have accumulated over a billion DOGE in the past month alone. It consolidated at around $0.16 for the next month but exploded alongside most of the market since May 8 and skyrocketed to $0.26 reached on May 11.<\/p>\n<p>It faced a sharp rejection at that point and is down by 13.5% to the current levels. <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ali_charts\/status\/1923096544779153542\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">According<\/a> to Martinez, DOGE is now attempting to breach \u201ca major area of resistance,\u201d which, if reclaimed, could \u201cspark a new bull run.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crypto Thies believes there will be a prolonged consolidation phase at this point and perhaps a retest of the $0.2-$0.21 support region.
