And while CEO Jamie Dimon still doesn\u2019t like crypto, he\u2019s made it clear that what he thinks personally won\u2019t stop the bank from giving customers what they want.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A Change in Tune, But Not in Tone<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">At JPMorgan\u2019s annual investor day on May 19, Dimon confirmed that the bank will begin allowing clients to purchase Bitcoin. I defend your right to buy Bitcoin.\u201d So while the CEO hasn\u2019t warmed to crypto, the bank is moving forward anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">From \u201cFraud\u201d to Functionality<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jamie Dimon has spent years criticizing Bitcoin. He once called it a fraud and compared its hype to a tulip bubble. He\u2019s also raised concerns about its use in money laundering and other illegal activity.
