{"id":28399,"date":"2025-05-24T07:31:46","date_gmt":"2025-05-24T07:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=28399"},"modified":"2025-05-24T07:31:46","modified_gmt":"2025-05-24T07:31:46","slug":"polygon-co-founder-mihailo-bjelic-exits-layer-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=28399","title":{"rendered":"Polygon Co-Founder Mihailo Bjelic Exits Layer 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Mihailo Bjelic, one of the four co-founders of Polygon, is exiting the network.<\/p>\n<p>Bjelic <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MihailoBjelic\/status\/1925955088272572765\">made the announcement on X<\/a>, &#8220;After much thought and reflection, I\u2019ve decided to step down from the board of the Polygon Foundation, and wind down my day-to-day involvement with Polygon Labs,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>With Bjelic&#8217;s exit, co-founder Sandeep Nailwal becomes the last remaining member of the original founding team.<\/p>\n<p>Nailwal acknowledged Bjelic&#8217;s contributions to the network and wished him luck for the future.<\/p>\n<p>The layer 2 network, which was original known as Matic, was formed by Jaynti Kanani, Sandeep Nailwal, Mihailo Bjelic and Anurag Arjun.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, Polygon&#8217;s POL is down 5% in the last 24 hours, trading over 23 cents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mihailo Bjelic, one of the four co-founders of Polygon, is exiting the network.
