A TikTok prankster who attended Donald Trump\u2019s dinner for the US president\u2019s top memecoin holders said the three-course meal served was some of the \u201cworst food\u201d he\u2019s eaten and that Trump\u2019s speech at the event was \u201cpretty much like bullshit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was the worst food I\u2019ve ever had at a Trump golf course,\u201d Nicholas Pinto told<\/a> WIRED on May 23, while other attendees the outlet interviewed said that the meal was \u201cOK, but not top-class.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the menu at the May 22 event, which all paid millions to attend, was a \u201cTrump organic field green salad\u201d followed by a filet mignon and pan-seared halibut with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley while a lava cake was dished up for dessert.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only good thing was bread and butter,\u201d Pinto said, adding he left the venue still hungry.<\/p>\n

Pinto had told<\/a> Fortune during the event that the filet mignon was \u201ctrash,\u201d calling it \u201cWalmart steak.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone at my table was saying the food was some of the worst food that they ever had,\u201d said Pinto, who purchased around $300,000 worth of the Official Trump (TRUMP) token to earn his spot at the event<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was hoping for either Big Macs or pizza,\u201d Pinto said, referring to Trump\u2019s liking for McDonald\u2019s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s speech reportedly not a hit<\/h2>\n

Pinto also criticized Trump\u2019s speech, telling Fortune that it was \u201cpretty much like bullshit.\u201d<\/p>\n

According<\/a> to videos shared on X, Trump, while reading from a script, claimed that some of the smartest minds from all around the world were in the room and suggested that crypto may be something special<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou believe in the whole crypto thing. A lot of people are starting to believe in it \u2026 This is really something that may be special \u2014 who knows, right? Who knows \u2014 but it may be special.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Others complained about how Trump left immediately after his short speech instead of sticking around to hand the top token investors new watches, Pinto noted.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 35 Democrats have called for the Justice Department to investigate<\/a> Trump\u2019s crypto dinner, as they suspect he may be accepting foreign investments in violation of federal bribery statutes and the foreign emoluments clause of the Constitution.<\/p>\n

Under the emoluments clause, the US president is barred from accepting any gift from a foreign state without the approval of Congress.<\/p>\n

Trump invited those who were among the top 220 largest holders<\/a> of the TRUMP memecoin<\/a> to his event at the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia \u2014 many of whom came from all around the world, according to Trump himself.<\/p>\n
