{"id":28900,"date":"2025-05-28T02:16:51","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T02:16:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=28900"},"modified":"2025-05-28T02:16:51","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T02:16:51","slug":"donald-trump-jr-says-getting-debanked-de-insured-de-everything-orange-pilled-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=28900","title":{"rendered":"Donald Trump Jr. Says Getting \u2018Debanked, De-Insured, De-Everything\u2019 Orange-Pilled Him"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>LAS VEGAS, Nevada \u2014\u00a0Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of U.S. President Donald Trump, said he and his younger brother Eric Trump \u201corange-pilled\u201d their father after the family and its organization experienced pervasive de-banking in the wake of Trump\u2019s first presidential term.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Don Jr. said he wasn\u2019t an early adopter of bitcoin or crypto, only finding his way to blockchain technology after realizing the \u201cfragile\u201d nature of the traditional financial system.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were real estate guys, we were hard assets, we built buildings \u2014 [bitcoin] was a bit nebulous,\u201d he said during a fireside chat with Rumble CEO and founder Chris Pavlovski. \u201cBut once we got into that political sector\u2026we were getting de-banked, we were getting de-insured, we were getting de-everything. It was brutal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Don Jr. said he and Eric \u201cdefinitely\u201d had a hand in helping their father, who called bitcoin a scam in 2021, understand the potential of crypto and blockchain technology.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were the ones who were getting subpoenaed in nonsense lawsuits, we were the ones who are dealing with getting de-banked \u2026 we\u2019re the guys who probably saw that first-hand,\u201d he said of him and his brother. \u201cWe probably, maybe got there a little bit before him. Once we started explaining the potential, he\u2019s a quick study \u2026 he got there pretty quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Once Trump embraced crypto on the campaign trail, Don Jr. said he got a laugh out of other candidates, including Democratic nominee and former Vice President Kamala Harris, jumping on the bitcoin bandwagon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would pay money, a lot of money, maybe my entire crypto wallet, to have Kamala Harris explain blockchain technology,\u201d Don Jr. said. \u201cThat would be the greatest word salad in the history of Kamala Harris word salad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Don Jr. added that his father \u201ccares about doing what\u2019s right for America,\u201d saying the democratization of finance \u201cis a fundamental tenant after, like, world peace, of what he wants to accomplish in this administration.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Trump family\u2019s crypto ventures, including the TRUMP memecoin and World Liberty Financial, have been heavily criticized in both the industry and the government for being opaque and allegedly presenting conflicts of interest.
