The delisting effort <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">was attributed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to updated token versions, which no longer meet the platform\u2019s listing requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Coinbase has also moved its order books involving the four altcoins to limit-only mode. \u201cLimit orders can be placed and canceled, and matches may occur,\u201d the company stated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The prices of the affected assets plunged following the disclosure. RNDR has dropped by 7% on a daily scale, while the rest are down by double digits. After all, ceased support from a major player like Coinbase leads to reduced liquidity and visibility. Additionally, it can spark fear and doubt among investors, hurt the asset\u2019s reputation, and drive more people to sell.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Render is the biggest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization from the affected ones, and some X users commenting on the post were left surprised that Coinbase decided to suspend trading services with it. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The company initially <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/this-cryptocurrency-spikes-10-as-coinbase-prepares-for-a-listing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">added<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> support for the altcoin at the beginning of last year, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">placing<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> it in its roadmap section and later <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">listing<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> it <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the platform.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Opposite Effect<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Usually, the observed price dynamics are much different when Coinbase backs <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">certain<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> cryptocurrencies in one way or another. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Earlier this year, the exchange listed the meme coin TOSHI on its roadmap, a vital step before an official listing<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
