{"id":30088,"date":"2025-06-04T02:31:54","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T02:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=30088"},"modified":"2025-06-04T02:31:54","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T02:31:54","slug":"u-s-president-donald-trumps-social-media-firm-truth-social-to-launch-spot-bitcoin-etf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=30088","title":{"rendered":"U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s Social Media Firm Truth Social To Launch Spot Bitcoin ETF"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>NYSE Arca, which is part of the New York Stock Exchange, has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyse.com\/publicdocs\/nyse\/markets\/nyse-arca\/rule-filings\/filings\/2025\/SR-NYSEArca-2025-40.pdf\">filed paperwork<\/a> with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a fund issued by U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s media company Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, the exchange filed a 19b-4 document with the SEC for a fund that would track the price of bitcoin BTC, similar to the already existing spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).<\/p>\n<p>The filing was made on behalf of crypto asset manager Yorkville America Digital, which is a partner of Trump Media &amp; Technology Group, the owner of Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p>The custodian for the fund, if approved, would be Foris DAX Trust Company, which also serves as the custodian for Crypto.com\u2019s assets.<\/p>\n<p>A 19b-4 filing is required to be filed by self-regulatory organizations (SROs) to propose a rule change.
