What Happened<\/strong>: The selloff coincided with an escalating public dispute<\/a> between President Donald Trump<\/strong> and Tesla Inc. <\/strong>(NASDAQ:TSLA<\/a>) CEO Elon Musk<\/strong> that has rattled both traditional and digital asset markets. <\/p>\n

Tesla shares plunged 14.3% on Thursday as Trump threatened to terminate billions in government contracts and subsidies for Musk\u2019s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
