{"id":30594,"date":"2025-06-06T12:17:46","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T12:17:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=30594"},"modified":"2025-06-06T12:17:46","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T12:17:46","slug":"strategy-to-raise-nearly-1b-with-strd-preferred-stock-offering-to-accumulate-btc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=30594","title":{"rendered":"Strategy to Raise Nearly $1B With STRD Preferred Stock Offering to Accumulate BTC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Strategy (MSTR), the largest corporate holder of bitcoin BTC, has priced the new preferred stock offering designed to give long-term investors a fixed 10% annual return with no management fees.<\/p>\n<p>The firm will sell 11.76 million shares of its 10% Series A Perpetual Stride Preferred Stock (STRD), expecting to bring in an estimated $979.7 million after fees and expenses, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strategy.com\/press\/strategy-announces-pricing-of-initial-public-offering-of-strd-stock_06-08-2025\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The shares, which sit below Strategy\u2019s other preferred offerings<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/03\/25\/strf-or-strk-comparing-strategy-s-preferred-stock-offerings\"> STRF and STRK<\/a>, are set to settle on June 10. Unlike STRF, which has senior status and lower volatility, and STRK, which is convertible and pays 8%, STRD offers the highest yield among Strategy\u2019s capital products while being riskier.<\/p>\n<p>It comes with a non-cumulative dividend, meaning missed payments won&#8217;t accrue, and dividends will only be paid when declared by the board.<\/p>\n<p>STRD is designed to appeal to investors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/06\/03\/strategy-expands-capital-stack-with-launch-of-high-yield-strd-preferred-shares\">seeking high-yield options<\/a>.
