Before making the purchase, the president <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/trump-buys-red-tesla-model-s-white-house-alongside-elon-musk-i-like-signing-check?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">praised<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the wealthiest man in the world and vowed to pay the full price for the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cThis man [Elon Musk] has devoted his energy and his life to doing this,\u201d he said at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Trump\u2019s purchase in March triggered a brief uptick in the price of Tesla\u2019s shares. However, the recent conflict between the two men (which seems to have erupted following a bill introduced by the president last month) has <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">had a negative impact on<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the company\u2019s stocks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On June 5, as the drama between the two unfolded, TSLA dropped below $275, the lowest point <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">witnessed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in the past month.
