Leading cryptocurrencies were little changed Sunday ahead of the trade negotiations between officials of U.S. and China in London.<\/p>\n

What Happened<\/strong>: Bitcoin <\/strong>spiked above $106,000 in the evening, only to correct to the $105,000 region overnight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ethereum <\/strong>experienced a similar trajectory, bumping an intraday high of $2,547.47 before correcting later in the evening.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin enjoyed a 63.7% share of the market as of this writing, while Ethereum’s dominance remained above 9%.<\/p>\n

About $107 million was liquidated from the cryptocurrency market in the last 24 hours, with nearly equal amounts of longs and shorts wiped out. That said, nearly $350 million worth of bearish bets on Bitcoin risked liquidation if the apex cryptocurrency rallies to $108,000<\/p>\n

Bitcoin’s Open Interest dipped by 0.50% in the last 24 hours. Interestingly, nearly 60% of Binance <\/strong>traders with open BTC positions were positioned short, anticipating further downsides.<\/p>\n
