{"id":30936,"date":"2025-06-09T12:46:52","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T12:46:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=30936"},"modified":"2025-06-09T12:46:52","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T12:46:52","slug":"coinbase-alum-founded-turnkey-raises-30m-series-b-to-grow-engineering-team-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=30936","title":{"rendered":"Coinbase Alum-Founded Turnkey Raises $30M Series B to Grow Engineering Team: Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Crypto wallet infrastructure company Turnkey has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Bain Capital Crypto, <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/crypto\/2025\/06\/09\/exclusive-coinbase-vets-raises-30-million-for-crypto-wallet-startup-turnkey\/\">Fortune reported on Monday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Turnkey, which was co-founded by former Coinbase employees Bryce Ferguson and Jack Kearney, aims to help developers build user-friendly wallets using application programming interfaces (APIs).<\/p>\n<p>This can help wallets become more streamlined and easy to use, Ferguson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re moving from this world of these slow, clunky systems that were designed for buying and holding crypto to very high throughput, machine-based transactions,\u201d he said, according to Fortune&#8217;s report. <\/p>\n<p>The company counts prediction market platform Polymarket, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace Magic Eden and Stripe-owned stablecoin firm Bridge among its clients. <\/p>\n<p>The funding also included contributions from Lightsped Faction and Galaxy Ventures, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/tech\/2024\/04\/23\/galaxy-lightspeed-lead-15m-raise-for-turnkey-crypto-wallet-startup-from-former-coinbase-employees\">led Turnkey&#8217;s $15 million Series A<\/a> in April 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Turnkey will use its new capital to grows its headcount, which currently sits at 35 employees.
