Despite its 4% daily resurgence, the price remains 17% down over the past 30 days.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Shiba Inu isn\u2019t the only cryptocurrency seeing its number of investors rise to a new record. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As <em>CryptoPotato<\/em> <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-btc-hits-a-new-ath-but-its-not-what-you-think\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">reported<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, the number of <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">bitcoin<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> (BTC) holders recently <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">exploded<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">almost<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> 55.4 million.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Ethereum (ETH) leads the pack with more than 148 million holders, while Shiba Inu\u2019s biggest rival \u2013 Dogecoin (DOGE) \u2013 has almost eight million.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Breaking Down the Stats<\/h2>\n<p>As mentioned above, the data shows that the total number of wallets holding some amount of SHIB is over 1.5 million, which, according to LUCIE, represents 0.011% of the global population.<\/p>\n<p>However, we should make a vital disclaimer that a single individual can have multiple wallets.
