President-elect <strong>Donald Trump&#8217;s <\/strong>pro-crypto stance has already led to <strong>Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/btc\/usd\">BTC<\/a>) hitting several new all-time highs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/24\/11\/42102366\/bitcoin-taps-95k-ethereum-dogecoin-flat-as-trumps-crypto-policy-takes-shape-top-analyst-describes-btcs-path-to-135k\">since the 2024 election.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What Happened: <\/strong>Fresh off of reports that Trump Media &amp; Technology Group was<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/general\/social-media\/24\/11\/42048594\/trump-digs-deeper-into-cryptocurrency-bakkt-shares-soar-on-reported-interest-from-president-elects-media-company\"> looking to acquire <\/a>cryptocurrency company <strong>Bakkt Holdings<\/strong> (NYSE:<a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/stock\/BKKT#NYSE\">BKKT<\/a>), a new trademark filing could further signal the media company&#8217;s growing crypto aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>Trademark attorney <strong>Josh Gerben <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JoshGerben\/status\/1859689670986408392\">shared <\/a>a post about Trump Media Thursday, shown as T Media Tech LLC on the patent filing, which trademarks &#8220;TruthFi.&#8221; The filing was made with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on Nov. 18, according to Gerben.<\/p>\n<p>Gerben lists the following elements of the trademark <a href=\"https:\/\/tsdr.uspto.gov\/#caseNumber=98859006&amp;caseSearchType=US_APPLICATION&amp;caseType=DEFAULT&amp;searchType=statusSearch\">filing <\/a>for TruthFi:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital wallets<\/li>\n<li>Analysis and compilation of data and statistics for financial research purposes<\/li>\n<li>Payment processing of cryptocurrency and credit cards<\/li>\n<li>Management of financial assets<\/li>\n<li>Digital asset trading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benzinga has contacted Trump Media for comment &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/general\/social-media\/24\/11\/42124007\/trump-media-trademark-filing-for-truthfi-hints-at-potential-digital-wallets-asset-trading\" alt=\"Trump\" media trademark filing for hints at potential digital wallets asset trading>Full story available on Benzinga.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A trademark filing from Trump Media &amp; Technology Group (NASDAQ:DJT) has the cryptocurrency sector on high alert.
