It is the highest price the asset has traded for since February 24, when it reached a similar level.<\/p>\n<p>ETH has now broken above resistance at $2,700, which stopped it from climbing higher four times over the past month or so. The next target above here is the psychological $3,000 barrier.<\/p>\n<p>Ethereum is \u201cback in beast mode,\u201d commented crypto trader \u2018Merlijn\u2019 who added that it smashed through $1,500 and $2,200 \u201clike paper\u201d and is \u201cnow staring down $4,000.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The next stop is price discovery, he added before predicting that it could move to five figures.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Ethereum is back in beast mode.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ETH&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">$ETH<\/a> smashed through $1.5K and $2.2K like paper.<br \/>\nNow it\u2019s staring down $4K.<\/p>\n<p>Next stop?
