Instead, they hijack trusted visuals to mislead,\u201d the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">caution<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> reads.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Subsequently, the team advised users always to conduct their own research<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and rely only on information from official Shiba Inu sources.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The team behind HypeIt <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/letsHypeIt\/status\/1932663816246239494\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">appreciated<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the warning, saying, \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Scammers<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> move fast, but the ShibArmy moves faster.\u201d The developers also pledged to downvote fraudulent content and boost real builders and creators.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Beware of This Scam, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">too<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Earlier this month, the same X account flashed the red light regarding a fraud related to the leading cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The team <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/important-warning-concerning-shiba-inu-shib-and-coinbase-users-details-here\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">said<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> SHIB users may receive a suspicious email\u00a0impersonating the Coinbase Compliance team, urging them to verify their personal account information or face restrictions on crypto services <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">like<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> buying and selling tokens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The X account asserted that this was a scam designed to steal personal information and warned people not to click on links attached to the email.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The warning comes shortly after Coinbase revealed that it had become the victim of a hacking attack.
