{"id":31478,"date":"2025-06-12T08:01:31","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T08:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=31478"},"modified":"2025-06-12T08:01:31","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T08:01:31","slug":"michael-saylor-shrugs-off-quantum-computing-threat-to-bitcoin-warns-companies-like-microsoft-google-more-vulnerable-youll-see-it-coming-a-mile-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=31478","title":{"rendered":"Michael Saylor Shrugs Off Quantum Computing Threat To Bitcoin, Warns Companies Like Microsoft, Google More Vulnerable: &#8216;You&#8217;ll See It Coming A Mile Away&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Leading <strong>Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/btc\/usd\">BTC<\/a>) advocate <strong>Michael Saylor<\/strong> is not too worried about quantum computing\u2019s potential threat to the network\u2019s security.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Happened:<\/strong>\u00a0During an interview <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OBSKfSCfRt0\">with<\/a> Bloomberg that aired Tuesday, the <strong>Strategy<\/strong> co-founder was asked about the possibility of quantum computing breaking Bitcoin\u2019s cryptography.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t\u00a0worry about it,\u201d Saylor replied. \u201cMicrosoft and\u00a0Google market their quantum projects,\u00a0but they would never sell\u00a0a quantum computer that cracked\u00a0cryptography because it would destroy\u00a0their own companies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saylor said that while powerful computers may pose a threat to modern cryptography in the next 10-20 years or so, companies like\u00a0<strong>Microsoft Corp.<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/stock\/MSFT#NASDAQ\">MSFT<\/a>), <strong>Google<\/strong> [<strong>Alphabet Inc.<\/strong> (NASDAQ: <a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/stock\/googl#NASDAQ\">GOOGL<\/a>) (NASDAQ:<a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/stock\/GOOG#NASDAQ\">GOOG<\/a>)], and\u00a0<strong>JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co<\/strong>.
