The Shiba Inu community has launched a petition urging Binance to list Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), a pivotal token within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. This move aims to strengthen the ecosystem\u2019s growth and enhance the interconnected utility of its tokens\u2014SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.<\/p>\n

Shiba Inu Team Hopes For Another Successful Petition<\/h2>\n

Lucie (@LucieSHIB), the marketing lead for Shiba Inu, announced<\/a> the petition today on X, emphasizing the collective benefits for all holders within the ecosystem. She stressed that supporting BONE is not just about one token but about \u201cthe health and growth of the entire Shib ecosystem.\u201d Lucie highlighted that every SHIB holder benefits from BONE\u2019s success because BONE powers Shibarium.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery Shib holder benefits from Bone\u2019s success. Why? Because Bone powers Shibarium, and every transaction on Shibarium burns Shib. The more Bone is adopted, the more Shibarium<\/a> is used\u2014and the more Shib is burned, reducing supply and increasing potential value for all holders. Supporting Bone is directly supporting Shib\u2019s deflationary mission,\u201d Lucie stated<\/p>\n

She also pointed out that LEASH holders<\/a> should be interested in BONE\u2019s success. LEASH represents exclusivity and rewards within the ecosystem, and the success of Shibarium and BONE brings more attention and use cases to all three tokens.<\/p>\n

\u201cA successful Bone petition demonstrates to major exchanges, projects, and investors that the Shib ecosystem isn\u2019t just about one token\u2014it\u2019s a thriving ecosystem where Shib burns<\/a>, Leash exclusivity, and Bone utility all work together. The petition, authored by SHIB team member Mazrael Leashtenant on Change.org, directly appeals to Binance to list BONE, emphasizing its integral role in transaction processing, network security, and community governance within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It describes BONE as the gas token for Shibarium, the Layer 2 solution designed for fast, secure, and low-cost transactions. With a total supply of 250 million tokens, BONE is essential for paying gas fees, executing transactions, and supporting decentralized functionality within the network.<\/p>\n

The petition notes that BONE holders can delegate their tokens to decentralized validators, ensuring the integrity and security of network transactions. As a governance token, BONE allows holders to participate in shaping the future of the ecosystem through proposals and votes. \u201cBONE is integral to various decentralized applications, DeFi, Play-to-Earn (P2E) games, and privacy-focused dApps, BONE is central to the expanding Shiba Inu ecosystem,\u201d the petition notes.<\/p>\n

Shibarium, the ecosystem\u2019s Layer 2 blockchain, reportedly boasts over 1.8 million wallet addresses and has processed 540 million transactions. It supports decentralized exchanges, games, and offers advanced tools like homomorphic encryption for privacy-focused applications such as Shibdentity and ShyMode.<\/p>\n

BONE is available across multiple platforms, including ShibaSwap DEX, where users can purchase it directly with fiat or other cryptocurrencies, and centralized exchanges like MEXC, HTX, OKX, Crypto.com, and Gate.io. The petition argues that listing BONE on Binance will promote the entire ecosystem by making the token more accessible, benefiting users, developers, and businesses by fostering further decentralized innovation.<\/p>\n

Notably, the Shiba Inu community has a history of effectively using petitions to advocate for exchange listings and ecosystem improvements. In early 2021, a concerted effort led to SHIB being listed on Coinbase Pro, significantly enhancing its visibility and market value. A subsequent large-scale petition contributed to its inclusion on Robinhood<\/a> in April 2022, broadening its trading accessibility.<\/p>\n

As of press time, the petition had garnered 75 signatures. Lucie concluded her message with a rallying call: \u201cLet\u2019s show the world the strength of our unity and make sure Shib, Bone, and Leash all reach their full potential. Together, we rise!\u201d<\/p>\n
