Bitmain, Canaan and MicroBT together control over 90% of the world\u2019s mining rigs.<\/p>\n<p>Their move comes after US President Donald Trump slapped new tariffs on Chinese goods, a shift that could reroute the very backbone of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/bitcoin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Bitcoin<\/a> mining.<\/p>\n<h2>A Race To Beat Tariffs<\/h2>\n<p>Based on a report by Reuters, Bitmain kicked off US production in December, one month after Trump\u2019s election victory. Canaan followed on April 2 with trial runs. That level of consolidation is rare in tech.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts see the market growing at 15% CAGR, to hit nearly $12 billion by 2028. Critics call this a \u201cdigital dependency trap.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conflux Network\u2019s CTO Guang Yang warns the trade fight isn\u2019t just about money.
