The team, however, claimed that investors holding Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other meme coins, part of its ecosystem, such as BONE, LEASH, TREAT, and SHEB, might be protected and could actually benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cBecause not everyone will ride it. In May 2022, for instance, its price saw a substantial drop following <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/lunas-btc-reserves-gone-as-exchanges-halt-ust-withdrawals-amid-turbulent-24-hours\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the collapse<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> of Terra (LUNA) and its algorithmic stablecoin (UST).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A similar downtrend <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">was observed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in November 2022, when the once-prominent crypto exchange FTX experienced a liquidity crisis and was unable to honor its clients\u2019 withdrawal requests. Shortly after, its problems <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/the-fall-of-sam-bankman-frieds-crypto-empire-a-timeline-of-ftxs-collapse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">intensified<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and its former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), resigned while the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">SHIB\u2019s Next Potential Targets<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Despite plunging by almost 20% on a monthly scale, Shiba Inu remains the subject of optimistic price predictions. Earlier this week, a popular X user <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/pepeisfriend\/status\/1935515872644448273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">claimed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that the asset \u201cis pretty much at the bottom\u201d and appears to be approaching <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">an important<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> support zone.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cIf it <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">really<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> hits that support, it\u2019ll likely move sideways for a while before the next growth phase.
