The shares Wednesday morning were more than 4% higher at around $360 in early trading.<\/p>\n<p>While broader sentiment leans bearish, Coinbase is cementing its role as crypto\u2019s &#8220;universal bank,&#8221; and is bridging retail, institutional, and on-chain infrastructure at a scale unmatched by peers, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Coinbase will be a beneficiary of the GENIUS Act and soon to follow CLARITY Act,&#8221; analysts led by Gautam Chhugani wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Bernstein said the exchange is the only crypto-native firm in the S&amp;P 500 and continues to dominate U.S. trading despite competitive pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase&#8217;s stablecoin business, responsible for roughly 15% of total revenue, is scaling rapidly with integrations like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/06\/12\/shopify-to-enable-usdc-payments-on-coinbase-s-base-for-merchants-worldwide\">Shopify<\/a>, the report noted.<\/p>\n<p>On the institutional side, Coinbase powers custody for eight of the eleven Bitcoin ETF issuers, the broker noted.<\/p>\n<p>With its recent acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/05\/08\/coinbase-buying-deribit-for-usd2-9b-a-legitimate-threat-for-peers-wall-street-analysts-say\">Deribit<\/a>, the largest crypto options exchange globally, and the explosive growth of its Ethereum Layer 2 network, Base, which is already hosting tokenization pilots like J<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/06\/17\/jpmorgan-introduces-usd-deposit-token-on-coinbase-s-base-blockchain\">PMorgan\u2019s JPMD coin<\/a>, Coinbase is quietly assembling the core infrastructure of the next financial system, the report added.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/06\/23\/coinbase-is-well-positioned-to-benefit-from-us-crypto-regulatory-clarity-benchmark\"><span style=\"text-decoration:underline\">Coinbase Is Well Positioned to Benefit From U.S. Crypto Regulatory Clarity: Benchmark<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) remains one of the most misunderstood companies in the digital assets space, Wall Street broker Bernstein said in a research report Wednesday.
