{"id":34069,"date":"2025-06-27T14:17:16","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T14:17:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=34069"},"modified":"2025-06-27T14:17:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T14:17:16","slug":"uae-firm-invests-100m-in-trump-linked-wlfi-token","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=34069","title":{"rendered":"UAE Firm Invests $100M in Trump-Linked WLFI Token"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>A company based in the UAE has invested $100 million in the Trump-linked WLFI (World Liberty Financial) Token.<\/p>\n<p>On 26 June 2025, WLFI and Aqua1 Foundation, a Web3 native investment fund, <a class=\"general-link\" href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@aqua1\/aqua-1-announces-100m-strategic-world-liberty-financial-governance-token-purchase-to-help-shape-c44ac18344a7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">jointly announced<\/a> their collaboration as a strategic manoeuvre to turbocharge the blockchain ecosystem for applications related to real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation, stablecoins and decentralised finance (DeFi).<\/p>\n<p>Aqua1 Foundation\u2019s investment in this venture dwarfs the next biggest <a class=\"general-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/11\/25\/trump-crypto-justin-sun-investment.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">investment <\/a>in the token made by Justin Sun, Tron\u2019s founder, who invested $30 million in the Trump-linked WLFI in November last year.<\/p>\n<p>Dave Lee, the founding partner at Aqua1, said, \u201cAqua1 and WLFI will work together to identify and support blockchain projects with transformative potential.\u201d According to Lee, the integration of traditional finance with blockchain protocols is a \u201ctrillion-dollar pivot opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The joint announcement has come in a day after the Trump-backed DeFi project, World Liberty, <a class=\"general-link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/worldlibertyfi\/status\/1938002198098575688\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">revealed <\/a>its team to be working on enabling trading of the WLFI tokens. Interestingly, Trump\u2019s financial disclosure of making $58 million, primarily from WLFI sales, only trailed his income from his hospitality business.
