{"id":35438,"date":"2025-07-07T05:03:51","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T05:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=35438"},"modified":"2025-07-07T05:03:51","modified_gmt":"2025-07-07T05:03:51","slug":"uae-authorities-debunk-reports-of-getting-golden-visa-by-staking-toncoin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=35438","title":{"rendered":"UAE Authorities Debunk Reports of Getting Golden Visa by Staking Toncoin"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities have sharply rebuffed reports of individuals being able to acquire UAE&#8217;s Golden Visa by staking Toncoin (TON).<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), and Dubai&#8217;s crypto regulator Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA),<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wam.ae\/en\/article\/15nmo29-golden-visa-for-digital-currency-investors-uae\"> issued a statement on Monday<\/a> denying any such arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>ICP said that golden visas frameworks still do not include digital currency investors. VARA also reiterated that TON is neither licensed nor regulated by the regulator.<\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/06\/ton-surges-on-uae-golden-visa-news-crypto-community-reacts-with-excitement-and-doubt\"> Max Crown, CEO of the TON Foundation<\/a>, which manages the Telegram-based crypto ecosystem, said on X, that Toncoin holders can now acquire UAE&#8217;s much sought after Golden Visa by staking TON.<\/p>\n<p>Crown added that applicants who stake $100,000 worth of toncoin for three years and pay a one-time processing fee of $35,000, can now get a 10-year Golden Visa.  <\/p>\n<p>TON surged 12% after the announcement jumping to nearly $2.9.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Telegram founder Pavel Durov said that the messaging platform has partnered with Elon Musk&#8217;s artificial intelligence firm, xAI.
