The trader <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cryptobeastreal\/status\/1942171390246814002\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">revealed<\/a> the sell-off occurred on July 7 and included the tokens Celestia (TIA), Ondo (ONDO), Ethena (ENA), Quant (QNT), and Pyth Network (PYTH).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is worth mentioning that all of <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the aforementioned<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> have posted some gains on a 24-hour scale. TIA leads the charge with a spike of around 10%, while the rest have recorded more modest increases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The crypto enthusiast claimed the sold altcoins have utility but questioned whether this <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">is needed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in the space. \u201cThey\u2019re good for one thing: making VCs richer,\u201d they added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Crypto Beast has now shifted focus to hunting meme coins with 100x potential. Some X users commenting on the post supported the decision, stressing the importance of profit-taking. Others, though, wondered why the trader would prioritize meme coins, considering the hype for these tokens had significantly reduced in the past several months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recall that the sector was <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/meme-coin-madness-their-total-market-cap-hits-an-ath-of-over-120-billion\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">booming<\/a> towards the end of last year, with its total market cap surging past $120 billion. The analyst thinks Sui Network (SUI), Helium (HNT), Render (RENDER), Filecoin (FIL), and Ondo (ONDO) are among the top contenders for explosive rallies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth noting, though, that SUI should not be placed in the same \u2018low-cap\u2019 category, as it\u2019s the 15th-largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of over $10 billion.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Carl Moon \u2013 an X user with over 1.5 million followers \u2013 chipped in, too. He <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TheMoonCarl\/status\/1941769078626005142\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">claimed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that the altcoins \u201cwill go parabolic\u201d once the combined market capitalization of all digital assets (excluding BTC and ETH) soars above $1.15 trillion.
