{"id":36149,"date":"2025-07-10T11:31:43","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T11:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=36149"},"modified":"2025-07-10T11:31:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T11:31:43","slug":"rumble-taps-moonpay-for-crypto-wallet-ahead-of-q3-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=36149","title":{"rendered":"Rumble Taps MoonPay for Crypto Wallet Ahead of Q3 Launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Video-sharing platform Rumble (RUM) struck a deal with crypto payments provider MoonPay for its forthcoming cryptocurrency wallet, the company told CoinDesk on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Rumble Wallet, scheduled to go live in in the third quarter, will integrate MoonPay\u2019s infrastructure to handle seamless conversions between digital assets and fiat currency, and will let users buy, sell and swap crypto directly on the video-sharing platform, aiming to give creators more control over how they\u2019re paid.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Rumble Wallet will change the game for creators, and MoonPay is the perfect partner to bring that vision to life,\u201d said Rumble founder and CEO Chris Pavlovski. \u201cWe&#8217;re not just building tools, we&#8217;re building freedom.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>MoonPay\u2019s creative subsidiary, Otherlife, will move its operations to Rumble Cloud, the firm&#8217;s cloud-service platform as part of the deal. Otherlife will use the decentralized storage and compute services to produce content natively in Web3 environments.<\/p>\n<p>The move is part of Rumble&#8217;s growing crypto ambitions since Tether, the company behind the largest stablecoin, USDT, bought a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2024\/12\/20\/tether-takes-75-m-stake-in-video-sharing-platform-rumble\">$775 million stake<\/a> in the firm.<\/p>\n<p>Rumble has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/03\/12\/video-sharing-platform-rumble-buys-188-btc-for-usd17-1m\">added<\/a> bitcoin (BTC) to its balance sheet, and said it planned to introduce crypto payments with BTC, USDT and Tether&#8217;s tokenized gold, XAUT.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Video-sharing platform Rumble (RUM) struck a deal with crypto payments provider MoonPay for its forthcoming cryptocurrency wallet, the company told CoinDesk on Thursday.
