Input Output Global (IOG), the research-engineering company behind Cardano, has signed a strategic partnership with Buenos Aires-based software house TxPipe to \u201cattract, train, and support the next generation of blockchain developers\u201d in Argentina and across Latin America, according to a 10 July press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The agreement places TxPipe in charge of recurring hackathons, workshops, and meet-ups at IOG\u2019s recently opened Buenos Aires office, using the company\u2019s TX3 developer toolkit to onboard engineers to the Cardano ecosystem. IOG will provide the venue, logistical backing, and promotional reach, while both firms commit to co-hosting community events that also spotlight Midnight, IOG\u2019s privacy-focused protocol.<\/p>\n

Cardano Makes Its Move In Latin America<\/h2>\n

Charles Hoskinson, IOG\u2019s chief executive, framed the collaboration as an investment in local talent: \u201cWe are thrilled to partner with TxPipe. Their team represents the best of what Argentina\u2019s developer community has to offer, and together we are building a foundation for long-term ecosystem growth. Our collaboration also fulfills the broader vision of making IO Buenos Aires a crypto hub.\u201d<\/p>\n

Santiago Carmuega, TxPipe\u2019s co-founder, echoed the sentiment: \u201cThis partnership shows what\u2019s possible when mission-aligned teams come together. We\u2019re excited to help shape the future of crypto in Latin America.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cadence of activity is set at one event every four to six weeks, with TxPipe supplying instructors and curriculum while IOG supplies space and operational support. Both companies argue that Argentina\u2019s combination of skilled developers, culture of digital experimentation, and high cryptocurrency adoption\u2014fueled in part by persistent inflation\u2014makes the country a natural hub<\/a> for Cardano-centred innovation.<\/p>\n

\u201cArgentina stands out as a strategic choice for long-term Web3 investment and ecosystem growth. With a highly skilled developer base, a strong culture of digital experimentation, and ongoing economic challenges, the country presents ideal conditions for the advancement of IO\u2019s decentralized technologies. It also ranks among the world\u2019s leaders in cryptocurrency adoption, as citizens and residents increasingly turn to digital assets for everyday transactions and to navigate inflation,\u201d the press release states.<\/p>\n

The partnership follows IOG\u2019s formal inauguration of its Buenos Aires office on 21 May 2025. Notably, IOG has been nurturing technical talent in the country for some time. In September 2024 the company\u2019s education team delivered a two-week Cardano developer course at the National Technological University (UTN) in Buenos Aires, describing it as a \u201cmomentous\u201d hands-on programme that deepened ties with the local community.<\/p>\n

The project has also gained visibility at the highest political levels. Last September Hoskinson met with President Javier Milei<\/a> during Tech Forum Argentina to discuss blockchain\u2019s role in economic reform.<\/p>\n

With the TxPipe partnership now operational, IOG is amplifying a strategy that combines bricks-and-mortar presence, formal education, and community-driven events to entrench Cardano\u2019s developer base in Latin America<\/a>, beginning with Argentina.<\/p>\n
