The month-over-month CPI increase is also the same as what experts anticipated, at +0.3%.<\/p>\n<p>According to some <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2025\/07\/15\/economy\/us-cpi-consumer-price-index-inflation-june?Date=20250715&amp;Profile=cnnbrk&amp;utm_content=1752583439&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a>, previous months benefited from falling gas prices and disinflation within the housing sector. However, the landscape has since changed, and the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump are taking effect as well.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s price reacted immediately when the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics went live and slipped from over $117,000 to $116,400 before it rebounded to its starting position.<\/p>\n<p>The asset has <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/150-billion-wiped-out-from-crypto-markets-as-bitcoin-drops-below-117k-market-watch\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">dropped<\/a> by six grand since yesterday, but it\u2019s up by over $10,000 since last Wednesday.
