{"id":37005,"date":"2025-07-15T14:19:04","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T14:19:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=37005"},"modified":"2025-07-15T14:19:04","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T14:19:04","slug":"roxom-looks-to-capture-bitcoin-treasury-boom-with-btc-denominated-stock-exchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=37005","title":{"rendered":"Roxom Looks to Capture Bitcoin Treasury Boom With BTC-Denominated Stock Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Bitcoin project Roxom is preparing to launch a bitcoin (BTC)-denominated stock exchange. <\/p>\n<p>Roxom will debut the new exchange in September with a waitlist now open for early access, according to an emailed announcement shared with CoinDesk on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The San Francisco-based project said the exchange will &#8220;reflect the Bitcoin white paper&#8217;s original vision of a global, permissionless store of value.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The bitcoin treasuries exchange will allow BTC-denominated buying and selling of shares in companies with significant bitcoin holdings, such as Strategy (MSTR) and Metaplanet (3350).<\/p>\n<p>Following the lead of these two companies, there has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/06\/20\/a-south-korean-biotech-firms-gets-1833m-funding-to-build-bitcoin-treasury\">a glut of publicly-listed firms building bitcoin treasuries<\/a> in recent months. Just last week, three such companies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/09\/bitcoin-treasury-firms-expand-war-chests-as-global-adoption-rises\">raised a combined $278 million toward the goal of boosting their BTC holdings<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Roxom&#8217;s aim is to provide exposure to bitcoin using BTC treasury companies as a proxy, without the need to convert bitcoin or navigate brokerages.<\/p>\n<p>The project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/05\/22\/roxom-global-raises-179m-to-build-btc-treasury-back-247-media-network\">raised $17.9 million in funding<\/a> from Draper Associates, Borderless Capital, ego death and Kingsway Capital earlier this year, with which it began building a bitcoin treasury of its own.
