{"id":37246,"date":"2025-07-16T13:52:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T13:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=37246"},"modified":"2025-07-16T13:52:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T13:52:12","slug":"arbitrums-arb-surges-after-appearing-among-supported-chains-for-paypals-850m-pyusd-stablecoin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=37246","title":{"rendered":"Arbitrum&#8217;s ARB Surges After Appearing Among Supported Chains for PayPal&#8217;s $850M PYUSD Stablecoin"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Ethereum scaling network Arbitrum&#8217;s token ARB is gaining on Wednesday as speculation swirled that the network could be next where PayPal&#8217;s U.S. dollar stablecoin PYUSD will be deployed. <\/p>\n<p>The network was recently added to PayPal&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/us\/legalhub\/paypal\/cryptocurrencies-tnc?locale.x=en_US\">cryptocurrency terms and conditions webpage<\/a> as a supported chain for PYUSD, alongside Ethereum and Solana SOL where the token is already live.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;PYUSD is issued by Paxos, not PayPal, on each of the Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum cryptocurrency networks,&#8221; the page reads.<\/p>\n<p>ARB was up 7.7% over the past 24 hours, outpacing bitcoin&#8217;s BTC and ETH&#8217;s gains during the same period.<\/p>\n<p>CoinDesk asked PayPal and Paxos representatives for comment.
