Positioning For The Next Phase: Reindustrialization, Embodied AI, Energy, and Crypto\u2014And How We’re Trading It<\/h2>\n

Big picture:<\/strong>\u00a0I’m constructive on U.S. equities. Multiple structural, policy, and technological currents are converging\u2014reindustrialization<\/strong>,\u00a0AI infrastructure \u2192 embodied AI<\/strong>,\u00a0an energy build\u2011out (including nuclear)<\/strong>, and\u00a0pro\u2011crypto policy clarity<\/strong>\u2014while near\u2011term macro fears (tariffs reigniting inflation, “AI bubble” narratives, etc.) have not derailed earnings or capex. I’m leaning into the secular winners\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0keeping “safety first” hedges on while they’re inexpensive.<\/p>\n

\n

The Interlocking Macro Themes<\/h2>\n

1. Reindustrialization & Strategic Reshoring<\/h3>\n

Two motives reinforce each other: (a) the political focus on “bringing manufacturing back” (jobs, innovation spillovers from working with atoms, resilience), and (b) strategic \/ national\u2011security logic\u2014reducing dependency on geopolitical rivals for critical components (advanced manufacturing equipment, energy technologies, defense electronics). This catalyzes\u00a0incremental demand<\/em>\u00a0for power systems, precision components, industrial software, and localized supply chains.<\/p>\n

2. AI Infrastructure \u2192 Embodied AI<\/h3>\n

Phase 1 of the AI trade was “who can secure GPUs \/ networking \/ power” (capex arms race). We’re now in an early transition to\u00a0Phase 2<\/strong>: operationalization, application layer ROI, and\u00a0embodied<\/em>\u00a0deployments (sensors, robotics, edge compute). Capital is still flowing into data centers\u2014liquid cooling, power distribution, interconnects\u2014but incremental alpha increasingly comes from companies\u00a0leveraging<\/em>\u00a0that stack (or supplying the specialized hardware that lets it escape pure commoditization).<\/p>\n

3. The Energy (and Nuclear) Build\u2011Out<\/h3>\n

AI + reshoring =\u00a0structural electricity demand uplift<\/strong>. That underwrites new gas peaking plants, grid hardening, distributed generation, and a reopening bull case for nuclear (modular reactors, fuel cycle bottlenecks). Industrial electrification and datacenter cooling both amplify this. We position in names that (i) supply critical gear to data centers, (ii) sit in the nuclear fuel \/ technology chain, or (iii) ride natural gas compression & infrastructure.<\/p>\n

4. Crypto Policy Tailwinds & Institutionalization<\/h3>\n

Crypto backed the winning political coalition last cycle; we’re seeing\u00a0regulatory clarity<\/strong>\u00a0and friendlier postures (appointments, rhetoric, enforcement direction). That’s most immediately bullish for\u00a0network beta<\/em>\u00a0(BTC, ETH) and\u00a0platform rails \/ on\u2011ramps<\/strong>. Additionally, “BTC \/ digital asset treasury” angles (companies holding or staking) create hybrid narratives\u2014operating businesses with embedded crypto leverage. We took entries in April’s correction on select “treasury” names while sentiment reset.<\/p>\n
