However, some of those tokens have a warning label, known as a Seed Tag. It applies to cryptocurrencies which are listed on the platform but are considered riskier or early-stage projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On July 21, Binance <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1CoS5IPCI79GmfoR-Xp4xMsW-9KC1519o\/view\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> the removal of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the Seed Tag from popular meme coins, including Bonk (BONK), Pepe (PEPE), and Pudgy Penguins (PENGU). EigenLayer (EIGEN) and ether.fi (ETHFI) will also no longer have this marker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The firm stated that it will continue to conduct periodic reviews to determine if other digital assets should have the Seed Tag removed. To do so, it takes into account factors such as the team\u2019s commitment to the project, the level and quality of development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network stability, community sentiments, and others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The exchange also <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/detail\/87ff153144ad4f3a8a10ad417e4a2ed3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">expanded<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the list of trading choices offered on Binance Spot by adding the ETC\/USDC, GRT\/USDC, and ROSE\/USDC pairs on July 22. The services are subject to eligibility and won\u2019t be available to users residing in the USA, Canada, Iran, Netherlands, and other countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ethereum Classic (ETC), The Graph (GRT), and Oasis (ROSE) did not experience price rallies following the news and remain in red territory on a daily scale. More substantial pumps <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are typically observed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> when Binance lists a new cryptocurrency, rather than just an additional trading pair.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Other Recent Changes<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Earlier this month, the company <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/binance-announces-changes-these-altcoin-traders-are-affected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">included<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Newton Protocol (NEWT) and Sahara AI (SAHARA) as new loanable assets on\u00a0Binance VIP Loan. The service enables premium users to borrow substantial amounts of crypto by using their current holdings as collateral. Surprisingly, NEWT and SAHARA did not pump after the disclosure and remained in the red zone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Binance also removed <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">certain<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> spot trading pairs, such as ACT\/EUR, FIO\/BTC, TNSR\/FDUSD, and TST\/FDUSD.
