Jack Dorsey<\/strong>, co-founder of Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: BTC<\/a>)-focused firm Block, Inc.<\/strong> (NYSE:XYZ<\/a>), has openly criticized Ethereum <\/strong>(CRYPTO: ETH<\/a>), although he has refused to label it as \u201chate\u201d for the second-largest cryptocurrency.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What happened<\/strong>: In response to accusations of \u201cEthereum hate\u201d in August 2021 on Twitter, now X, Dorsey clarified that focusing on Bitcoin should not be construed as hatred toward Ethereum.<\/p>\n

“I’ve made my concerns known about others in comparison to Bitcoin. Key ones are founding principles, security, and centralization,” Dorsey said.<\/p>\n
