{"id":39315,"date":"2025-07-29T12:03:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T12:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=39315"},"modified":"2025-07-29T12:03:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T12:03:00","slug":"ark-invest-buys-the-dip-on-ether-strategy-firm-bitmine-with-18-6m-purchase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=39315","title":{"rendered":"ARK Invest Buys the Dip on Ether Strategy Firm BitMine With $18.6M Purchase"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>ARK Invest bought $18.6 million worth of shares in ether treasury firm BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR).<\/p>\n<p>Cathie Wood&#8217;s investment firm added a total of 529,366 BMNR shares to its Innovation (ARKK) and Next Generations Internet (ARKW) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on Monday, according to an email notification.<\/p>\n<p>BMNR fell <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/BMNR\/\">more than 11.8% to $35.11<\/a> and is now down some 74% since spiking to $135 early this month.<\/p>\n<p>BitMine has positioned itself as one of the largest corporate accumulators of ether in recent months, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/07\/17\/bitmines-ethereum-bet-tops-1b-as-eth-strategy-accelerates\">amassing more than 300,000 ETH<\/a> worth over $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous companies have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/07\/22\/sharplinks-ether-bet-surpasses-13b-after-latest-purchase\">adopted a strategy of building an Ethereum treasury<\/a>, copying the playbook of Michael Saylor&#8217;s Strategy (MSTR) with bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Among other factors, this has helped ignite a breakout in ETH&#8217;s price, which has gained around 57% in July to almost $3,900, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/price\/ethereum\">according to CoinDesk data<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>ARK also sold just under $7 million of <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/COIN\/\">Coinbase<\/a> (COIN) shares and $15 million worth of Jack Dorsey&#8217;s fintech company <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/XYZ\/\">Block<\/a> (XYZ), based on Monday&#8217;s closing prices. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ARK Invest bought $18.6 million worth of shares in ether treasury firm BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR).
