For several weeks now, the asset has been moving in a tight zone without direction. Traders are showing caution ahead of today\u2019s FOMC interest rate decision.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crypto analyst Micha\u00ebl van de Poppe described the current pattern as \u201cextremely boring,\u201d pointing to the lack of decision or momentum. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-price-calms-at-118k-ahead-of-fomc-meeting-bonk-dumps-hard-market-watch\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has been holding between $116,800 and $119,500, with no clear move up or down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His chart shows that liquidity above and below this range has already been cleared. It currently stands at 44%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, this number reflects several market signals, including selling activity from long-term holders, ETF inflows, and overall demand. A higher number means the market is heating up. The analyst also said the recent price increase was not large, which could limit how deep or long any correction might be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crypto Dan suggested that traders may need to wait through this cooling period before seeing the next upward trend.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Long-Term Wallet Activity Shows Familiar Pattern<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On-chain analyst Joao Wedson <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/joao_wedson\/status\/1950285413051973929\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pointed out<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that the number of Bitcoin wallets holding more than 10,000 BTC is falling again\u2014just like it did during the 2020\u20132021 bull market.
