In fact, in one of those reiterations, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-price-rises-above-109k-as-trump-calls-for-biggest-interest-rate-cut-in-history\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">urged<\/a> the most significant rate cut in the history of 3 basis points.<\/p>\n<p>BTC\u2019s price follows the macro developments in the world\u2019s largest economy, and its movements are tightly <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/how-much-do-us-interest-rates-really-matter-to-crypto\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">correlated<\/a> to the nation\u2019s interest rate policy. Still being considered a riskier asset, it tends to benefit from an environment with lower rates.<\/p>\n<p>This hasn\u2019t stopped it from thriving for the past year or so. However, it has stalled below the most recent all-time high of over $123,000, charted a couple of weeks ago, and many experts believe a potential rate cut could lead to further gains.
