According to reports, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee said that Strategy\u2019s bet on Bitcoin<\/a> could one day push it to the very top of the stock market. He pointed to the company\u2019s massive crypto holdings as the key driver of its value.<\/p>\n

Lee noted that, like oil companies of old, Strategy\u2019s market value comes more from what\u2019s in its vault than from its quarterly profits.<\/p>\n

Bold Claims On Market Value<\/h2>\n

Based on Lee\u2019s comments<\/a>, Strategy could surpass giants such as NVIDIA and Microsoft\u2014if Bitcoin ever reaches $1 million.<\/p>\n

ExxonMobil once held a spot in the top five of the S&P 500 for an entire generation thanks to its oil reserves. Now Lee sees Strategy in that same role, only trading oil for Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

He argues that the company\u2019s balance sheet, loaded with digital coins, is changing how we measure corporate size.<\/p>\n

Strategy\u2019s shares trade at about $380. That puts its market cap near $2.50 billion. By contrast, NVIDIA sits at roughly $4.3 trillion and Microsoft at $3.9 trillion.<\/p>\n

To overtake NVIDIA based on its current 628,791 BTC stash, Bitcoin would need to hit more than $6 million per coin. Even at $1 million, those coins would total about $620 billion\u2014big, but still below today\u2019s leaders.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin Holdings At Scale<\/h2>\n

Reports have disclosed that Strategy<\/a> paid $46 billion to build its Bitcoin hoard. Today that stash is worth about $70 billion.<\/p>\n

The company holds only $50 million in fiat cash. Lee pointed out that this makes Strategy\u2019s treasury one of the top 10 among all US companies.<\/p>\n

It ranks ahead of names like PayPal and ExxonMobil simply because it owns volatile, appreciating crypto instead of static cash.<\/p>\n

In its latest move, Strategy filed for a $4.2 billion STRC offering. The plan is to convert those proceeds directly into Bitcoin. That will boost its coin count and further cement its identity as a Bitcoin-first treasury.<\/p>\n

Lee sees this as proof that more companies might shift from cash and bonds into digital assets if they want to chase big gains.<\/p>\n

Competition Among Treasuries<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, BitMine itself is taking cues from Strategy. It has gone all-in on Ethereum<\/a> and now holds over 833,000 ETH, making it the largest public holder of that token.<\/p>\n

Lee believes that other firms will follow suit\u2014some choosing Bitcoin, others picking Ethereum or other blockchains.<\/p>\n

That could redraw the map of corporate finances, with digital coins sitting at the heart of many balance sheets.<\/p>\n
