Michael Saylor\u2019s Strategy has announced a fresh expansion of its Bitcoin treasury, with another 155 BTC being added to its holdings.<\/p>\n

Strategy Has Completed Another Bitcoin Acquisition<\/h2>\n

In a new post<\/a> on X, Strategy<\/a> co-founder and chairman Michael Saylor<\/a> has revealed the latest purchase completed by the company. The buy, involving a sum of 155 BTC, has come after a break from accumulation last week.<\/p>\n

Like is usually the case, Saylor hinted at the acquisition a day in advance, writing on X on Sunday: \u201cif you don\u2019t stop buying Bitcoin, you won\u2019t stop making Money.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)<\/a>, Strategy bought the coins in the week between August 4th and 10th at an average price of $116,401. This means that the 155 tokens cost the firm around $18 million.<\/p>\n

This is a relatively modest purchase for the company. As the chart shared by CryptoQuant community analyst Maartunn<\/a> shows, the buy is much smaller than the last few acquisitions.<\/p>\n

The previous buy, made toward the end of last month, was especially larger. It involved a massive 21,021 BTC and was the largest purchase by the company in eight months.<\/p>\n

After the latest acquisition, Strategy owns 628,946 BTC, purchased for $46.09 billion. At the current exchange rate, this stack is worth $75.17 billion, meaning that the firm is sitting on a profit of about 63%.<\/p>\n

There are currently over 19.9 million tokens of the cryptocurrency in circulation, implying that the company\u2019s holdings alone account for around 3.16% of the total supply.<\/p>\n

In an X post<\/a>, institutional DeFi solutions provider Sentora (formerly IntoTheBlock) has shared a chart for the top 10 companies and governments ranked up based on their Bitcoin holdings.<\/p>\n

As is apparent from the above graph, Strategy far outweighs all governments and companies in terms of Bitcoin holdings, with the closest competitor being the US.<\/p>\n

In another post<\/a>, Sentora has shared another insight related to BTC treasuries, this one focused on the growth that they have seen since the start of 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe amount of Bitcoin held in treasuries has been increasing steadily in recent years, from a combined amount of 1.2 million Bitcoin in 2024 to over 1.86 million bitcoin in August of 2025,\u201d notes the analytics firm. Strategy alone makes up for a third of this amount.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin has erased some of its recent recovery over the past day as its price has retraced back to the $119,700 mark.<\/p>\n
