Transaction fees (also known as gas fees<\/a>) are better-known on Ethereum, but become even more apparent as a problem when combined with limited throughput.<\/p>\n

Limited Programmability<\/p>\n

Bitcoin, like all blockchains, is built on smart contracts.<\/p>\n

But not all smart contracts are created equal, and Bitcoin doesn\u2019t support the complex smart contracts needed for native DeFi or advanced smart contract support.<\/p>\n
