Yesterday (August 14), the X user Ali Martinez <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/is-this-massive-ripple-whale-move-the-trigger-for-xrps-next-big-surge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">revealed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> they have purchased 320 million tokens in <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the span of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> 72 hours. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prior to<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that, they <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/900000000-xrp-bought-in-48-hours-next-stop-3-60-for-ripple\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">scooped up<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> 900 million XRP in just two days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The USD equivalent of the combined accumulated stash stands at over $3.8 billion (calculated at current rates) and could be interpreted as a bullish signal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After all, purchases of that type reduce the amount of XRP tokens on the open market, which, paired with non-declining demand, should push the price up. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The buys also play a psychological role by encouraging smaller players to <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">hop on<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the bandwagon<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, too<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Meanwhile, XRP has experienced significant turbulence over the past week. Its price was gradually heading north, reaching a peak of almost $3.35 on August 14, but <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-bulls-wrecked-for-60m-as-xrp-flash-crashes-to-3-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">crashed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to nearly $3 several hours ago amid an overall correction of the crypto market. The bulls managed to recover some lost ground, and currently, Ripple\u2019s cross-border token trades at around $3.12 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data).<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">DOGE Whales on the Move, too<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Whales <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/dogecoin-doge-whales-go-crazy-further-price-rally-incoming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">spent<\/span><\/a> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">a little less than<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> $500 million to <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">amass two<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> billion DOGE last week.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Thus, they increased their total possessions to 27.6 billion coins, or roughly 18.3% of the meme coin\u2019s circulating supply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The effort caught the attention of the crypto community, with some speculating that the whales might have inside information about a significant upcoming event.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201c2B DOGE in 7 days? Its current valuation is around $0.23, with many analysts envisioning further gains in the short term. KALEO is among the biggest optimists, <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CryptoKaleo\/status\/1955538107710968049\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">predicting<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a price explosion to the unprecedented (and somewhat ridiculous) level of almost $7.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">BNB Made History<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The native cryptocurrency of Binance <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bnb-rockets-to-865-ath-big-players-target-1k\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">hit<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a new all-time high price of $866 on August 14. Its market capitalization briefly surged past $120 billion, making the asset bigger than Nike, Nintendo, and other well-known brands.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Binance Coin (BNB) slightly retraced in the following hours and currently trades at around $850, but it remains the subject of bullish forecasts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">X user Crypto Raven <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hiRavenCrypto\/status\/1955933069707501723\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">expects<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the price to soar beyond $1,000 in Q4 this year.
