{"id":42581,"date":"2025-08-17T13:17:54","date_gmt":"2025-08-17T13:17:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=42581"},"modified":"2025-08-17T13:17:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T13:17:54","slug":"story-protocol-co-founder-jason-zhao-steps-back-to-pursue-new-ai-venture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=42581","title":{"rendered":"Story Protocol Co-Founder Jason Zhao Steps Back to Pursue New AI Venture"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Jason Zhao, co-founder of intellectual property blockchain project Story Protocol, is stepping away from his full-time role after more than three years of building the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Zhao announced via a social media post that he will remain as a strategic adviser while turning his focus to a new AI initiative, Poseidon, which applies artificial intelligence to frontier industries such as science, biopharma, robotics, and space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLanguage generation is just the initial wave of a cascade of abundant intelligence across fields\u2026 that, if successful, will constitute a new Industrial Revolution,\u201d Zhao said in a post on X.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/tech\/2025\/02\/13\/story-protocol-launches-to-let-people-to-register-ip-and-get-paid-for-it\">Zhao launched Story Protocol<\/a> in 2021 as a way to make intellectual property \u201cprogrammable,\u201d enabling rights holders to register and monetize content directly on-chain.<\/p>\n<p>The project has since secured more than $130 million in venture funding from backers, including a16z.<\/p>\n<p>Leadership will now pass fully to co-founder SY Lee as CEO, alongside Andrea as chief product officer and Sandeep as chief AI officer.<\/p>\n<p>Zhao said he will remain close to Story through partnerships and investment, calling the project \u201cthe most meaningful experience of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Story Protocol&#8217;s token, IP, is trading above $5.80, up 2% on-day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jason Zhao, co-founder of intellectual property blockchain project Story Protocol, is stepping away from his full-time role after more than three years of building the platform.
