{"id":43919,"date":"2025-08-25T12:47:03","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T12:47:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=43919"},"modified":"2025-08-25T12:47:03","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T12:47:03","slug":"michael-saylors-strategy-added-3081-bitcoin-bringing-stack-to-nearly-632-5k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=43919","title":{"rendered":"Michael Saylor&#8217;s Strategy Added 3,081 Bitcoin, Bringing Stack to Nearly 632.5K"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Amid sizable volatility in prices, Strategy (MSTR) continued building its bitcoin (BTC) stack last week, buying 3,081 coins for $356.9 million, or an average price of $115,829 each.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s holdings are now 632,457 BTC acquired for $46.5 billion, or an average price of $73,527 each.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin&#8217;s plunge to $111,000 over the past 24 hours makes those holdings worth about $70.2 billion in U.S. Monday morning hours.<\/p>\n<p>Last week&#8217;s bitcoin buys <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.contentstack.io\/v3\/assets\/bltf8d808d9b8cebd37\/blta457fda90cf3345c\/68abb51b7119ea801fdaf56e\/form-8-k_08-25-2025.pdf\">were mostly funded<\/a> via sales of common stock, from which the company raised $300.9 million. Modest sales of three of the four MSTR preferred stock issues accounted for the rest of funding.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Saylor and Strategy last week drew the ire of at least some of their fans, revising a pledge to never sell common stock when the price was below 2.5x mNAV.<\/p>\n<p>MSTR, of course, has been under considerable pressure over the past few weeks and mNAV \u2014 a measure of the multiple of the company valuation versus its bitcoin holdings \u2014\u00a0has been well under 2x for some time.<\/p>\n<p>MSTR is lower by more than 4% premarket alongside the steep slide in bitcoin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amid sizable volatility in prices, Strategy (MSTR) continued building its bitcoin (BTC) stack last week, buying 3,081 coins for $356.9 million, or an average price of $115,829 each.
