{"id":44161,"date":"2025-08-26T14:16:49","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T14:16:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=44161"},"modified":"2025-08-26T14:16:49","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T14:16:49","slug":"joe-lubins-sharplink-boosts-eth-holdings-to-nearly-800k-raised-361m-in-fresh-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=44161","title":{"rendered":"Joe Lubin&#8217;s SharpLink Boosts ETH Holdings to Nearly 800K, Raised $361M in Fresh Capital"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>SharpLink Gaming (SBET), the Nasdaq-listed digital asset treasury firm led by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin, added 56,533 ether (ETH) to its balance sheet last week, lifting its total holdings to almost 800,000 ETH worth about $3.6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The purchases, made between Aug. 18 and Aug. 24, averaged $4,462 per ETH, according to a Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/investors.sharplink.com\/sharplink-announces-total-eth-holdings-increased-to-797704-as-of-august-24-2025-raised-360-9-million-in-net-proceeds-for-week-of-august-18-august-22-2025\/\">press release<\/a>. SharpLink also reported staking rewards had risen to 1,799 ETH since the firm launched its treasury strategy in June.<\/p>\n<p>The Minneapolis-based company also disclosed in the update that it raised $360.9 million in net proceeds last week through its at-the-market (ATM) share issuance program. There&#8217;s about $200 million in cash still available for further ETH acquisitions, the firm said.<\/p>\n<p>SBET rose 1.1% in the early minutes of the session.<\/p>\n<p>Ether treasury firms are on a buying spree, scooping up 2.6% of the asset&#8217;s supply over the past few months, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/08\/26\/ether-and-eth-treasury-companies-look-undervalued-after-plunge-standard-chartered\">Standard Chartered report<\/a>, and pushing ETH&#8217;s price to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/08\/22\/ethereum-surges-to-new-all-time-high-amid-likely-september-rate-cut\">fresh record<\/a>. BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), led by Fundstrat&#8217;s Tom Lee, is leading the pack by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/08\/26\/joe-lubin-s-sharplink-boosts-eth-holdings-to-nearly-800k-raised-usd361m-in-fresh-capital\">accumulating<\/a> nearly 1.7 million ETH, followed by SharpLink&#8217;s 800,000 tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the recent pullback in crypto prices, digital asset treasury stocks also declined.
