{"id":44304,"date":"2025-08-27T09:46:40","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T09:46:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=44304"},"modified":"2025-08-27T09:46:40","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T09:46:40","slug":"health-care-firm-kindlymd-plans-5b-equity-raise-for-bitcoin-treasury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=44304","title":{"rendered":"Health-Care Firm KindlyMD Plans $5B Equity Raise for Bitcoin Treasury"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>KindlyMD (NAKA), the Nasdaq-listed health-care company that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessnewswire.com\/newsroom\/en\/blockchain-and-cryptocurrency\/kindlymd-completes-merger-with-nakamoto-to-establish-bitcoin-treasury-1061324\">recently merged<\/a> with bitcoin (BTC) treasury firm Nakamoto, is set to offer as much as $5 billion in equity to fund the purchase of more BTC.<\/p>\n<p>The Salt Lake City-based firm filed a shelf registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an at-the-market equity offering program.<\/p>\n<p>The program will allow the company to sell common stock with timing and amounts to be determined by a variety of factors, including market prices, <a href=\"https:\/\/nakamoto.com\/update\/kindlymd-announces-5-billion-at-the-market-equity-offering-program\">the company said on Tuesday<\/a>. The funds also be used for general corporate purposes, such as acquisitions of businesses, assets or or technologies.<\/p>\n<p>KindlyMD commenced its bitcoin treasury strategy earlier this month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/08\/19\/kindlymd-naka-expands-bitcoin-treasury-with-usd679m-acquisition\">making its first acquisition of 5,743.91 BTC<\/a> ($635.4 million) on or around Aug. 19. <\/p>\n<p>NAKA shares <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/NAKA\/\">fell 12% to $8.07<\/a> on Tuesday, bearing the burnt of BTC&#8217;s relatively depressed price action.
