{"id":44521,"date":"2025-08-28T09:31:41","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T09:31:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=44521"},"modified":"2025-08-28T09:31:41","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T09:31:41","slug":"ark-invest-buys-15-6m-shares-of-ether-treasury-firm-bitmine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=44521","title":{"rendered":"ARK Invest Buys $15.6M Shares of Ether Treasury Firm Bitmine"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>ARK Invest bought $15.6 million shares of ether treasury company Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Petersburg, Florida-based investment manager added a total of 339,113 BMNR shares to three of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) \u2014 Innovation (ARKK), Next Generation Internet (ARKW) and Fintech Innovation (ARKF) \u2014 according to an emailed notification.<\/p>\n<p>Bitmine shares <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/BMNR\/\">fell 7.85% to $46.03 on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The company, led by Fundstrat&#8217;s Tom Lee, is one of the largest corporate holders of ether, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/08\/25\/bitmine-s-eth-holdings-top-1-7m-tokens-with-usd562m-of-buying-power-remaining\">having purchased over 1.7 million tokens<\/a>, worth just under $8 billion at current prices.<\/p>\n<p>The Cathie Wood-led Ark Invest often loads up on shares in companies when their shares take a hit and offloads them when they&#8217;ve enjoyed a surge to maintain its targeted weighing of different holdings within its ETFs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ARK Invest bought $15.6 million shares of ether treasury company Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) on Wednesday.
