Another day, another bold new Bitcoin price prediction: $1.3M by 2035.<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s largest crypto has evolved from a niche digital asset to a major institutional holding. Crypto asset manager Bitwise sees that evolution continuing at a 28.3% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next decade \u2013 far outperforming equities (6.2%), bonds (4.0%), and gold (3.8%).<\/p>\n

The recently-released Bitcoin Long Term Capital Market Assumptions report<\/a> from Bitwise explains the reasoning behind the $1.3M price prediction in greater detail, highlighting just how much room for growth remains for Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

Bear in mind, Bitwise\u2019s bullish $BTC prediction doesn\u2019t take into account the impact that innovative projects could have on the Bitcoin blockchain \u2013 further driving up its price.<\/p>\n

And one project in particular, Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER)<\/a>, could well be that game-changer.<\/p>\n

The Big Picture: Even the Downsides Bode Well for Bitcoin<\/h2>\n

Bitwise notes that while the broader economic picture is positive, there are some looming downsides.<\/p>\n

First, the US\u2019 national debt is climbing rapidly. When that happens, countries prefer to lower interest rates and devalue their own currency, minimizing the impact of the debt held in that currency.<\/p>\n

And as the Bitwise report puts it, it \u2018pays to bet on that happening\u2019 in terms of the US\u2019 national debt.<\/p>\n

Lower interest rates encourage spending and, by themselves, would be a good sign for Bitcoin\u2019s outlook. Investors are already looking forward to the September Federal Reserve board meeting, in which Jerome Powell, Fed Chair, is widely expected to cut interest rates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More broadly, US dollar dominance is weakening slightly globally.<\/p>\n

That isn\u2019t a doomsday scenario for the US economy, but it does indicate a potential opportunity. As the dollar weakens and loses global dominance, it creates an opening for alternative reserve currencies.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where Bitcoin could come in. In fact, it already has \u2013 with Michael Saylor popularizing the Bitcoin Treasury strategy.<\/p>\n
