His investment follows a prior anchor commitment of 169,984 ETH ($741 million) from The Ether Machine\u2019s co-founder and chairman Andrew Keys.<\/p>\n<p>The firm also plans to pursue a third fundraising round of at least $500 million with Citibank leading the effort, Keys said in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/ether-machine-raises-654-million-private-ether-financing-nasdaq-debut-nears-2025-09-02\/\">interview<\/a> with Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>The Ether Machine is part of a growing roster of public firms pursuing a strategy to acquire ETH, the second-largest cryptocurrency.
