{"id":46304,"date":"2025-09-08T13:17:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-08T13:17:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=46304"},"modified":"2025-09-08T13:17:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T13:17:11","slug":"bitmine-now-holds-9b-in-crypto-treasury-fuels-1000-surge-in-wld-linked-stock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=46304","title":{"rendered":"BitMine Now Holds $9B in Crypto Treasury, Fuels 1,000% Surge in WLD-Linked Stock"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced its cryptocurrency holdings now near $9 billion, which the firm says makes it the second-largest crypto treasury firm in the world behind Strategy (MSTR), which holds 638,460 BTC worth over $71 billion. <\/p>\n<p>It also fueled a 1,000% surge in a stock looking to accumulate WLD.<\/p>\n<p>The company according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/bitmine-immersion-bmnr-eth-holdings-exceed-2-069-million-reigning-as-the-1-eth-treasury-in-the-world-2nd-largest-crypto-treasury-globally-302548699.html\">press release<\/a>, holds 2.069 million ETH worth about $8.9 billion at current prices, in addition to 192 BTC and $266 million in unencumbered cash. <\/p>\n<p>That brings the company\u2019s total crypto and cash holdings to more than $9.2 billion, it said.<\/p>\n<p>BMNR pivoted to an ETH treasury strategy in June and aims to accumulate 5% of the total supply of ether. It\u2019s currently the largest ether treasury firm, with SharpLink Gaming (SBET) coming in second with a $3.6 billion ETH treasury according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strategicethreserve.xyz\/\">StrategicETHReserve<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>BitMine also announced a $20 million investment in Eightco Holdings (OCTO), a move it calls the first in its \u201cMoonshot\u201d investment strategy to \u201cback bold ideas that strengthen Ethereum\u2019s vast ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eightco plans to hold worldcoin (WLD) as its primary treasury asset. The funding comes as part of its $270 million raise via a private investment in public equity (PIPE).
