Its stock surged 16% to 714 yen on Wednesday on record trading volume.<\/p>\n<p>Nakamoto Holdings (NAKA), a bitcoin treasury company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/05\/07\/trump-crypto-advisor-david-bailey-in-talks-to-launch-bitcoin-investment-company-the-information\">founded by David Bailey<\/a>, a crypto adviser to President Donald Trump, said in a separate announcement that it <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/nakamoto\/status\/1965518733641916729\">committed buy $30 million<\/a> of the new shares. NAKA shares soared 77% on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Metaplanet said it  will allocate 183.7 billion yen of the proceeds toward bitcoin purchases in September and October.
